Heavy rain has been falling in the last few days and further rain is falling on Saturday 30 January. The rain is expected to continue until this afternoon. The catchment is saturated and the rainfall is causing the rivers in Colnbrook village to rise further.
Property flooding is now possible. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in Colnbrook. Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Use flood protection equipment (such as flood barriers, air brick covers and pumps) to protect your property. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings.
We will be closely monitoring the situation throughout the day. Our staff are due to be attending Horton Mill to open sluice gates and will be in Colnbrook ensuring any blockages are removed and assets are operating as they should.

Heavy rain has been falling in the Colne Brook catchment and further rainfall is forecast overnight Friday and into Saturday 30 January. This is causing Colne Brook to rise.
Properties and low lying areas around Colnbrook including Horton and Wraysbury may start to flood from now.
Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in all these areas. Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings.

Our staff are operating the sluice gates at Horton Mill to reduce levels.

Property flooding is possible in Colnbrook. Persistent rain, associated with Storm Dennis, fell over the weekend. The water level on the Colne Brook has risen as a result. Further scattered showers are predicted through Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 February.
The river level remains high. This is at a level that has the potential to flood property on Monday 17 February.
Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Move important items upstairs or to a safe place in your property, starting with cherished items of personal value that you will not be able to replace (such as family photographs). Next move valuables (such as computers), movable furniture and furnishings. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings.

We have issued a flood warning. Property flooding is possible in Colnbrook. Rain from Storm Dennis has been falling throughout today, Sunday 16 February. The water level on the Colne Brook has risen as a result. Heavy scattered showers are predicted through Sunday night and into Monday.
The river level is forecast to rise further through Sunday night. This will reach a level that has the potential to flood property in the early hours of Monday morning 17 February. River levels are forecast to be at their highest on Monday morning.
Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Activate any property flood protection measures you may have, such as flood barriers. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings.
We will be closely monitoring the situation throughout the night. We are operating sluice gates to make room for water and working with Slough Borough Council to reduce risk.
