Flooding is expected in this area. This means properties are at risk of flooding. Please take action to protect yourself and your property and monitor local weather and river conditions. Avoid contact with, walking or driving through flood water. Consider activating any property flood protection products you may have. Environment Agency Flood Warning Officers set the river or tidal levels that have triggered this message. During industrial action this message has been automatically issued based on rising river or tidal levels.

Loxwood Stream
River levels are still high on the Lox, but now beginning to fall, after widespread heavy rain from Storm Dennis. Flood impacts will continue to affect fields, gardens, roads and isolated properties, including Onslow Arms, Brewhurst Mill and Brewhurst Lane. Surface water flooding may still remain in Loxwood Village. Please continue to take care in and around flood affected areas, flood water can contain hidden dangers. Rain has now cleared, and only isolated showers are expected until Thursday 20/2/2020. These showers are unlikely to cause river levels to rise significantly, if at all. River levels may not return to normal until Monday evening 17/2/2020. Please operate private water control structures to reduce the risk of flooding. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will update this message by 10:00 on 17/2/2020.

Loxwood Stream
The Loxwood Stream is rising quickly following 40mm of rainfall due to Storm Dennis. Further showers are possible until 15:00 16/02/2020. River levels are rising and property flooding is expected from 12:00 16/02/2020. Water will also affect fields, gardens, and roads. River levels will be higher than recent months. Locations affected could include: Onslow Arms, Brewhurst Mill. Surface water flooding may affect Loxwood Village. Rain will ease Sunday afternoon. With only isolated showers through to midweek, river levels should begin to fall by Monday morning 17/02/2020. Please operate private water control structures to reduce the risk of flooding. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will update this message by 22:00 16/02/2020
