River levels remain high but are beginning to fall at the Eathorpe river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall on Thursday, 14/11/19.
The weather outlook is improving, however the risk of property, roads and farmland flooding remains.
Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid using low lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses.

River levels have risen at the Eathorpe river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours. Consequently, flooding may affect properties overnight, 15/11/19. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next couple of hours. We expect river levels to remain high overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 15/11/19, or as the situation changes.
