River Tame

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.  Flooding is expected on 14 November 2025 .  Flooding may affect Water Orton Lane and surrounding properties and roads as well as properties on Marsh Lane.  We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .  Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals . River Tame

River levels have risen at the Water Orton river gauge as a result of localised thunderstorms. Consequently, flooding (of property) is imminent. Flooding is affecting Water Orton Lane and surrounding properties as well as properties on Marsh Lane. No further rainfall is forecast. River levels may continue to rise over night Saturday 8 July to Sunday 9 July 2023, Please note we do not have a forecast for this gauge at the moment so cannot give a better timescale. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move family, pets, possessions, valuables and cars to safety. follow advice from emergency services This message will be updated by 09:00 on Sunday 9 July 2023, or as the situation changes.
