River Cole
The Met Office have issued an AMBER weather warning for rain between 16:48 and 21:00 this evening (Sunday 27 May), due to the potential for thunderstorms across the midlands. This Flood Warning has been issued in response to the thunderstorms in your area, which have resulted in the rapid rising of river levels and the rapid flooding of low lying land and roads. It is not possible for us to know where these storms will occur, so please remain vigilant and monitor your own local weather conditions. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely, liaising with our professional partners, and have staff out checking for and clearing blockages. We will issue Updates, Flood Alerts and further Flood Warnings if necessary. You can monitor your local river levels on the GOV.UK website.
