Ouse
The River Ouse is high and rising. In the last 2 days, more than half a month's rain (78mm) has been recorded at Ardingly. From 04:00 17/11/2022 flooding will affect fields, rural roads, gardens and affect properties at Slaugham Place, near Old Hall on Brantridge Lane. Only very small amounts of rain are forecast over the next 2 days. The river should begin to fall by Thursday afternoon and should return to normal from Friday. Flood impacts should begin to slowly ease when river levels start to fall. Riverside properties are encouraged to install flood protection products if you have them and take steps to reduce the impact of flooding. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will update this message by 13:00 17/11/2022.
