River levels on the Lox are still high, but have fallen slightly from yesterday's peak. Friday and Saturday 7/3/2020 are forecast to be dry. River levels will continue to fall very slowly. But minor flood impacts will likely continue to affect fields and some gardens and rural roads near to Brewhurst Mill until Saturday 7/3/2020. However, more rain is predicted Sunday morning and Monday afternoon 9/3/2020. The risk of flooding will increase again Sunday and Monday, dependant on the amount of rain we receive. Current predictions suggest river levels could return to heights seen today 6/3/2020. Please remain prepared for the risk of flooding to increase again from Sunday. Please continue to operate private water control structures to reduce the risk of flooding. We will continue to monitor river levels and forecasts. We will update this message by 12:00 7/3/2020

The Loxwood Stream is rising steadily in response to 20mm of rainfall this morning. A further 5mm of rainfall is forecast before the end of the day. River levels are predicted to continue to rise and flooding is possible from 22:00 05/03/2020. Isolated properties could be affected, as well as water affecting fields, gardens and rural roads. Locations affected could include the Onslow Arms and near Brewhurst Mill. Thursday evening and Friday will be relatively dry, so river levels should begin to fall from 06:00 on Friday 06/03/2020. However, river levels could stay high until Saturday and further rain is forecast into next week and so levels may rise again. Please operate private water control structures to reduce the risk of flooding. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will update this message by 12:00 06/03/2020

River levels are still high on the Lox, but now beginning to fall, after widespread heavy rain from Storm Dennis. Flood impacts will continue to affect fields, gardens, roads and isolated properties, including Onslow Arms, Brewhurst Mill and Brewhurst Lane. Surface water flooding may still remain in Loxwood Village. Please continue to take care in and around flood affected areas, flood water can contain hidden dangers. Rain has now cleared, and only isolated showers are expected until Thursday 20/2/2020. These showers are unlikely to cause river levels to rise significantly, if at all. River levels may not return to normal until Monday evening 17/2/2020. Please operate private water control structures to reduce the risk of flooding. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. River levels in the Loxwood Stream are rising quickly after 35mm of rainfall due to Storm Dennis. There is further persistent and heavy rainfall forecast for Sunday morning 16/2/2020. Flooding is possible from 08:30 Sunday 16/2/2020. Flood impacts will include fields, gardens, roads. Similar to the past week, but potentially higher. Property flooding is possible. Locations could include: Onslow Arms, Brewhurst Mill and Brewhurst Lane. Surface water flooding may affect Loxwood Village. Rain will ease Sunday afternoon. With only isolated showers through to midweek, river levels should begin to fall by Monday evening 17/2/2020. Please operate private water control structures to reduce the risk of flooding. The River Lox is still high, but currently slowly falling. Further rain is forecast Thursday afternoon, through to the early hours of Friday 17/1/2020. If the heaviest rain appears, flood impacts could be possible from 06:00 Friday 17/1/2020. Flooding could affect fields, rural roads, gardens and isolated buildings. Including areas near Brewhurst Mill and the Onslow Arms. With only isolated showers forecast for Friday, and a dry weekend, rivers should begin to fall by 16:00 Friday 17/1/2020. River levels are high but have now peaked on the River Lox, following 30mm of rain Tuesday 14/1/2020 and Wednesday 15/1/2020. River levels will slowly fall overnight into Wednesday, but minor flood impacts will remain during that time. Flooding will continue to affect fields, rural roads, gardens and isolated buildings, including areas near Brewhurst Mill and the Onslow Arms, and may not ease greatly by Thursday. Further rain is then possible Thursday afternoon 16/1/2020 and showers Friday. Flood risk will remain until the weekend. Our current predictions suggest impacts should not be significantly worse than experienced Wednesday 15/1/2020, but we'll reassess when we have greater confidence in the rainfall forecast. We've measured 35mm of rain over the past 24 hours. But the rain has now cleared eastwards. River levels are still high and slowly rising, and may continue to rise slowly for much of Wednesday. Flooding will continue to affect fields, rural roads, gardens and mill and isolated buildings. Including areas near Brewhurst Mill and the Onslow Arms. The river may not begin to fall until 01:00 16/1/2020. Further rain is then possible Thursday afternoon 16/1/2020 with showers Friday. River levels will stay higher than normal until the weekend and may rise a little further Thursday evening depending on where the rain falls. The River Lox has risen steadily after 10 mm of rain Monday and a further 10 mm of rain today 14/1/2020. An additional 25mm of rain is possible before mid morning Wednesday 15/1/2020. If all of this rain occurs, flooding could affect fields, rural roads, gardens and mill and isolated buildings from 07:00 Wednesday 15/1/2020. Possibly including areas near Brewhurst Mill and the Onslow Arms. The severity of the impacts, and whether properties are affected, is dependent on an uncertain heavier band of rain during the early hours of Wednesday morning. The river is unlikely to begin to fall until Thursday in many locations. Further rain is possible Thursday (16/1/2020) and Friday, which may keep water levels high until the weekend. Following approximately 20mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours, river levels remain high in the River Lox. River levels have peaked and are now falling. Settled weather means it will be dry today, which should allow river levels to fall. Showers are possible on Tuesday (24/12/2019), which could cause further minor flood impacts. River levels on the Lox have fallen from their peak, but remain very high due to further rainfall on Saturday (21/12/2019). Flood impacts could remain until Monday 23/12/2019. Locations affected will include fields, rural roads, gardens and isolated properties including the Onslow Arms and Brewhurst Mill. Widespread rain is forecast between 17:00 Saturday 21/12/2019 and 08:00 Sunday 22/12/2019. The river is likely to rise Saturday afternoon and evening, initially peaking 22:00 22/12/2019, potentially to similar levels or higher than seen Friday (20/12/2019). Following nearly a month’s rainfall over the past week, and 20mm Thursday night, river levels are high on the River Lox. Flooding will continue until approximately 12:00 on 21/12/2019. Locations affected will include fields, rural roads and gardens, approaching isolated properties including the Onslow Arms and Brewhurst Mill. The odd isolated shower is possible during Friday and Saturday morning, with widespread rain predicted between 15:00 and 21:00 on Saturday (21/12/2019). Saturday’s rain could cause river levels to rise again and possibly higher. Please operate private water control structures to reduce the risk of flooding. We will monitor river levels and forecasts. River levels on the Lox are very high, but currently stable. However, we are expecting further heavy rain between 01:00 and 07:00 Friday morning (20/12/2019). This could be a similar amount to Wednesday night’s rainfall, which will cause river levels to rise even higher. From 09:00 (20/12/2019) flooding could affect fields, rural roads and gardens and could approach isolated properties including the Onslow Arms and Brewhurst Mill. The river should initially peak by 21:00 (20/12/2019) through Brewhurst, but showers are possible friday night with more widespread rain Saturday afternoon which could cause river levels to rise again. Less rain fell than predicted last night. The risk of flooding is now reduced and impacts should be minimal. River levels will continue to rise along the River Lox and will peak at around 15:00 on Friday 21 December. However, river levels will not be as high as Thursday. Minor impacts could still be experienced, with small amounts of flood water affecting fields, gardens and rural roads. Friday and Saturday should be largely dry, which should allow river levels to fall. However, further rain is forecast for Sunday, which may cause river levels to rise again. Nearly half a month's rain has fallen over the past few days. River levels have been falling on the Lox today, but more rain is forecast overnight. There is uncertainty, but we think river levels will rise further. Flooding is possible Friday afternoon (21/12/2018), near Brewhurst Mill and the Onslow Arms which could see the highest river levels of the week so far. Minor flooding is expected, with flood water affecting fields, gardens and rural roads. Friday and Saturday should be largely dry, but further rain is forecast for Sunday. River levels on the Lox will remain higher than normal through the weekend. We'll monitor forecasts and update our messages. River levels have been falling overnight, but remain higher than normal. Minor flood impacts should ease, but could persist throughout Thursday 20 December. Fields, gardens and rural roads near Brewhurst Mill and the Onslow Arms may continue to be affected. River levels will continue to fall throughout Thursday 20 December, but further rain will fall Thursday night which will likely cause river levels to rise to similar levels experienced earlier in the week. We'll continue to monitor forecasts and update our messages. Please take precautionary measures to reduce flood risk in advance of Thursday evening. Following yesterday's rainfall the river levels are steadily rising along the River Lox. We had less rain than we were expecting, therefore, flooding of properties is unlikely. But river levels will remain high until Wednesday evening. Small amounts of water may still affect the Onslow Arms and Brewhurst Mill as well as fields, gardens and rural roads. Further rainfall is forecast Thursday evening, which may cause river levels to rise again on Friday (21/12/2018). We continue to monitor levels and forecasts and will update our messages. River levels are already high and are forecast to rise higher along the Loxwood Stream, in response to the rain falling this afternoon and evening. Flooding is possible in the morning, through to the afternoon of Wednesday 19th December 2018. River levels are likely to be a little higher than of recent days, with minor flooding expected around the Onslow Arms and Brewhurst Mill area. Loxwood Village may experience some surface water flooding. The weather will remain unsettled for the rest of the week and therefore river levels will remain high.
