River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall from Storm Ciara. A further heavy pulse of rain is causing a sharp river response, raising levels higher than just seen in the earlier peak. Consequently, flooding of property is possible over the next hour today, 09/02/20. Areas most at risk are around Ramsden Street. The Walsden Rochdale Road siren was sounded at 06:30 today, 09/02/20.
