Property flooding is expected. River levels have risen but are now starting to fall on the River Kennet at Marlborough as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected this evening 05/01/2024, especially in the areas closest to the River. The forecast is for scattered showers overnight and into tomorrow. We expect river levels to continue falling, but to remain responsive to further rainfall. We are monitoring the situation. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Property flooding is expected. River levels are rising quickly on the River Kennet at Marlborough as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected this morning, 05/01/2024, especially in the areas closest to the River. This morning is forecast to be mainly dry, followed by further showers this evening and overnight which have the potential to be heavy at times. We expect river levels to continue rising today, 05/01/2024. We are monitoring the situation. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers.
