This is a Flood Warning Update. River levels remain high and flooding is still possible. Areas most at risk include Grovely Riding School, Ditchampton, North Street, Castle Lane and Minster Street in Wilton. River levels remain very high following recent rainfall and the high groundwater. The weather remains unsettled and further rain is forecast over the next couple of days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Activate any flood protection products you may have. Please take care and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 13 February 2026 or as the situation changes

High river levels are expected to cause flooding today.  Flooding is expected on 11 February 2026   River levels continue to rise due to the previous days of rain and high groundwater levels. The weather forecast looks unsettled and further rainfall is forecast over the next few days. River levels are forecast to continue to rise. We are closely monitoring the rainfall and the river levels. The river is high and rising due to the rainfall this morning. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Wylye, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Grovely Riding School, Ditchampton, North Street, Castle Lane and Minster Street in Wilton. We are not expecting very much more rain. We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this Warning if necessary.  Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.  People in this area should take action now. This message will be updated by 10:00 am on 27/02/2025, or as the situation changes.
