River levels are rising at the Great Somerford river gauge on the River Avon in response to recent heavy showers. Further heavy rain is expected today and over the weekend, up to 20mm across the upper Bristol Avon catchment.
Consequently, flooding of property is possible on Thursday the 28 March 2024 November through to late Friday the 29th March 2024.We expect flooding to occur at the Reybridge, Seagry, and the Kellaways area.
Refer to Local Authority websites for any road closures. Properties with flood protection measures we advise these are installed now. Avoid drying through deep water as this poses a significant danger to life. We are closely monitoring the situation.
