River levels have risen at the Shelley Close river gauge as a result of localised thunderstorms. Consequently, flooding is imminent. Flooding may affect properties and roads within the Beechwood Park Estate and the Shelly Close area of Barbourne.
No further rainfall is forecast. River levels peaked this evening and are beginning to fall over night.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing weed screens.
Please move possession and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
