An updated FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Aboyne. There is a possibility of flooding to properties around the Glebe House, Low Road and Station Square areas of Aboyne. Heavy rain and melting snow through Saturday afternoon and early evening have caused water levels on the Dee and its tributaries to rise. The River Dee in Aboyne is expected to continue to rise through the evening and early morning with an expected peak in levels around 3am on Sunday. SEPA will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if the situation changes. Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188.
