A FLOOD WARNING update has been issued for Ballater.
The River Dee at Ballater peaked several hours ago and river levels will continue to slowly drop throughout the morning.

A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Ballater.
The caravan park and properties at the lower end of Dee Street are at risk of flooding. Heavy rain and melting snow through Saturday afternoon and early evening have caused water levels on the Dee and its tributaries to rise. Rain is expected to continue for the remainder of Saturday evening. The River Dee in Ballater is expected to continue to rise through the evening and early morning with an expected peak in levels between 11pm on Saturday and 3am on Sunday. SEPA will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if the situation changes.

A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Ballater.
Due to persistent and at times heavy rainfall through Saturday, levels on the River Dee are responding. Further heavy rainfall is expected overnight and into Sunday morning. This is a precautionary warning regarding possible flooding impacts at the caravan park and properties at the lower end of Dee Street. Widespread flooding is not expected through Ballater. SEPA will continue to monitor levels and provide an update if the situation changes.
