Property flooding is possible. River levels are high on the River Blackwater following heavy rainfall sunday and yesterday. Levels have now peaked and therefore no further flooding of property is expected overnight. Further rainfall which may be heavy at times is forecast over the next 36 hours. River levels are expected to continue to fall slowly but will remain sensitive to any further heavy rainfall. We are monitoring the situation. Property flooding is possible. River levels are high on the River Blackwater following heavy rainfall Sunday and yesterday. Levels have now peaked and therefore no further flooding of property is expected today 28/01/25. Areas most at risk are properties closest to the river on Church Road. Further rainfall which may be heavy at times is forecast over the next 48 hours. River levels are expected to continue to fall slowly but will remain sensitive to any further heavy rainfall. Property flooding is possible. River levels are rising on the River Blackwater as a result of a heavy heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours. Therefore, flooding of property is possible later this evening 27/01/25. Areas most at risk are properties closest to the river on Church Road. Further rainfall which may be heavy at times is forecast over the next 48 hours. River levels are high, and will remain sensitive to any further heavy rainfall. We are monitoring the situation. Property flooding is expected. River levels have risen but are now falling on the River Loddon and River Blackwater as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land, properties and roads is still expected this morning, 6 January 2024, especially in the Swallowfield area. River levels may reach levels similar to those of June 2021. The forecast for today, 6 January 2024, is for mostly dry conditions with the chance of some light showers, with a dry forecast for the next few days. Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Move possessions and valuables off the ground, or to safety. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected this morning, 5 January 2024, especially in the Swallowfield area. River levels may reach levels similar to those of June 2021.
