Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are high on the River Whitewater and the River Hart as a result of rainfall over the past few days, river levels have been dropping overnight and are expected to continue to do so today. We are expecting dry weather tonight and tomorrow with further rain expected early Thursday morning. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff have been in the area clearing trash screens and checking defences. Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are high on the River Whitewater and the River Hart as a result of rainfall over the past few days. Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels have risen on the River Whitewater and River Hart as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of roads and farmland is expected this evening 20/12/19. Further rainfall showers are forecast overnight and have the potential to be heavy at times. Property flooding is not currently expected. Levels on the River Whitewater have remained high in response to recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. There will be heavy rainfall across the area from this morning through until early Tuesday morning. Although levels on the River Whitewater and Hart have been gradually falling over the last few days, flooding of low lying land and roads is possible. We are constantly monitoring river levels. Property flooding is not currently expected, however, there will be widespread, persistent, heavy rain early Monday morning and all day. If we receive this forecasted rainfall, water levels on the River Whitewater will be expected to rise quickly throughout the morning and afternoon in response. Flooding of low lying land and roads would be expected. We are constantly monitoring river levels and our staff are out in the area checking for and clearing blockages.
