Property flooding is not currently expected. Levels on the Windle Brook and Hale, Mill and Addlestone Bournes have remained high in response to recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. There will be heavy rainfall across the area from this morning through until early Tuesday morning. Although levels on the catchement have been gradually falling over the last few days, flooding of low lying land and roads is still possible. We are constantly monitoring river levels. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings, flood waters may be deep and fast flowing. Please refer to the River and Sea levels in England webpage for current levels. Property flooding is not currently expected, however, there will be widespread, persistent heavy rain early Monday morning and all day. If we receive this forecasted rainfall, water levels on the Addlestone Bourne will be expected to rise steadily throughout the morning and afternoon in response.
