River levels are rising at the Kings Ripton river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected from 18:45 today, 23/12/2020. We expect flooding to affect King's Ripton, Broughton, Wistow, Bury and Ramsey. Peak levels are likely to be higher than those recorded in March 2008.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 8 hours. We expect river levels to rise throughout Wednesday evening and night. We are closely monitoring the situation.
