River Great Ouse
River levels are falling at the St Neots river gauge but the risk of flooding remains as water flows down the Great Ouse from upstream. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected. We expect flooding to affect the B1041 over the River Great Ouse, south of Skipper Way between Little Paxton and St Neots in Cambridgeshire. We expect river levels to remain high as water moves down the Great Ouse. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with emergency services. The B1041 between Little Paxton and St Neots may become impassable due to flood water. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high throughout the day today.
