Following the rain over the past week, river levels remain high. We expect the river to remain high over the next few days. Our forecasts currently indicate that flooding to properties is not likely and therefore flood warnings are not expected to be issued at this stage. Standing water will remain in Whittlesey Wash, however, we continue to discharge water at low tide. There is the possibility of heavy rain showers for the coming days which could keep river levels and flows high. We are constantly monitoring river levels and have staff in the field checking for and clearing blockages. This message will be updated on Saturday afternoon.
