River levels are high and continue to rise on the Sankey Brook due to heavy rainfall. Flooding is expected between 01:00 AM and 02:00 AM on Thursday 09/12/2021. Areas at risk include Chepstow Close, Colwyn Close, properties on and around Higham Avenue, Tavlin Avenue, Hodgkinson Avenue, Marshall Avenue, Hawleys Lane and Mullen Close. Further rainfall is forecast overnight. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Flooding is expected at properties along the River Weaver Navigation and River Dane between 01:00 AM and 02:00 AM on Thursday 09/12/2021.

It is possible that levels may cross the flood warning threshold at around 09:00am and peak at around 12:00pm at a level of 3.2 Meters. River levels could remain at this level for several hours throughout the afternoon, 29/09/19. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties along the River Weaver Navigation and River Dane.
