River levels remain high but steady at the Shrewbridge river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Levels have started to drop slowly after peaking in the early hours of this morning, but the river may rise again as a result of further rainfall forecast over the next 24hrs. Consequently, flooding of Shrewbridge Lodge remains possible overnight and into tomorrow morning, 14/06/2019.
Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels.

Following prolonged rainfall over Cheshire river levels on the Weaver at Shrewbridge are expected to rise. Further rain is forecast throughout Wednesday evening and night (12th June) and river levels will continue to rise.
We will continue to monitor the situation through the evening and night and will issue further updates if required. Consequently, flooding of property may occur later this evening, 12/06/19. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Shrewbridge Lodge. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours.
