Consequently, the risk of flooding still remains a possibility for some properties close to the River Weaver along Warrington Road and Sandy Lane.
Further rainfall is forecast this evening and into the night. We do not currently expect a further significant rise in river levels, but this flood warning will continue to remain in place due to high river levels. We expect the river levels to peak around 11:30pm tonight, on 28/01/2021.
