River levels are high but steady at the Shrewbridge river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland remains possible throughout today and into this evening, 13/06/19. We believe there is a possibility of flooding of low lying land and roads around the Rivers Weaver, Ducklow and Wheelock and their tributaries. Further showers are forecast over the next 24 hours so we expect river levels to remain above flood alert level, but will gradually begin to fall. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels. Please be aware of your surroundings and keep up to date with the current situation.
