River Eden
River levels are high on the River Eden due to Storm Isha. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Eden, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around farms, residential properties and roads adjacent to the River Eden at Warwick Bridge including properties at Bridge End Cottages, Holme Eden Hall and properties adjacent to the B6263 Warwick Bridge to Wetheral road. River levels remain high and the risk of flooding of properties will continue. Further light rainfall is forecast throughout the day but river levels are now falling steadily. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 5:00 PM on 22/01/2024, or as the situation changes.

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Eden, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around farms, residential properties and roads adjacent to the River Eden at Warwick Bridge including properties at Bridge End Cottages, Holme Eden Hall and properties adjacent to the B6263 Warwick Bridge to Wetheral road. Flooding of property is expected from 1:00 AM on 22/01/2024. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area.
