Low lying roads, residential, commercial properties and campsites in Keswick adjacent to the Rivers Greta and Derwent, including Greta Park Rugby Football Ground, Keswick Campsite, Keswick School Sports Field, Keswick Show Field and Playing Field areas. We expect river levels to remain high through today, Thursday 20/02/2020, when they will peak and start to recede. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. River levels have risen at the Greta Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property roads and low lying land is expected. Low lying roads, residential, commercial properties and campsites in Keswick adjacent to the Rivers Greta and Derwent. River levels remain high but are beginning to fall at the Low Briery river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding is reducing but the Flood Warning for low lying roads, residential, commercial properties and campsites in Keswick adjacent to the Rivers Greta and Derwent. Including Greta Park Rugby Football Ground, Keswick Campsite, Keswick School Sports Field, Keswick Show Field and Playing Field areas remains in force. We do not forecast the situation to deteriorate any further. Further light rainfall is forecast this evening and overnight. River levels are falling, but still pose a flood risk. River levels have peaked and are beginning to fall on the River Greta at the Low Briery and Greta Bridge river gauges as a result of heavy rainfall now having cleared Cumbria. The risk of flooding remains to low lying roads, farmland and campsites in Keswick adjacent to the Rivers Greta and Derwent. Including Greta Park Rugby Football Ground, Keswick Campsite, Keswick School Sports Field, Keswick Show Field and Playing Field areas. Further showers are forecast through today and tonight but we do not expect rivers to respond further. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services. Please avoid contact with flood water and avoid footpaths adjacent to watercourses. The level of Derwentwater has risen at the Keswick Camp Site river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible between midnight tonight into the early hours of tomorrow 11/08/19. Low lying areas bordering the shores of derwentwater and the Keswick camping and caravan club site will be affected. River levels will cross the flood warning level between 23:00 and midnight and peak just above the 1.8m at Ladore lake level around 04:00am 11/08/2019. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and clearing debris screens. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid driving through flood water. This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.

The messages will be removed on Sunday morning. There are a few showers forecast on Sunday morning but no significant amount of rain is expected.

Following rainfall on Friday and throughout Saturday, river levels have continued to rise, and with further rain forecast for Saturday evening levels will remain high. We are currently forecasting that the flood warning level will be reached at approximately 19.30, today 13/10/18. The current forecast is for levels to peak at 2.85m, at approximately 20.30. We will continue to monitor the situation and update this message if the situation changes.

River levels are rising and we forecast that the flood warning threshold will be reached at approximately 14:00 hours. River levels will continue to rise during the course of the day and are expected to peak during the evening. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update if the situation changes.
