Areas most at risk include low lying areas adjacent to the River Eden at Bolton, including Bolton Bank Caravan Park, Bolton Mill, The Cottage and Stables. Flooding will affect low lying areas adjacent to the River Eden at Bolton, including Bolton Bank Caravan Park, Bolton Mill, The Cottage and Stables from 7:00 PM on 21/01/2024. Further rainfall is not forecast for the rest of the night and river levels will begin to fall. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. We expect the River Eden to continue falling throughout the day to roughly 1.5m by early afternoon of 02/11/2020. However, there is a forecast for further rain today and there is a potential for the river level to rise again in the early hours of tomorrow morning 03/11/2020. A Flood alert is possible but we are not currently expecting to reach the Flood Warning Level. Low lying areas adjacent to the River Eden at Bolton, including Bolton Bank Caravan Park, Bolton Mill, The Cottage and Stables are at risk. We are closely monitoring the situation. . River levels are raised at the Appleby river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, low lying land and roads is possible Sunday morning 16/02/20. Low lying areas are at risk adjacent to the River Eden at Bolton, including Bolton Bank Caravan Park, Bolton Mill, The Cottage and Stables. After peaking during Saturday night, the river will respond to some further rain early Sunday 16/02/20 and will again rise before peaking at 11:00 am Sunday. We are closely monitoring the situation. River levels have risen at the Appleby river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, low lying land and roads is expected around midnight tonight 15/02/20. Low lying areas are at risk adjacent to the River Eden at Bolton, including Bolton Bank Caravan Park, Bolton Mill, The Cottage and Stables. The river will be at it’s highest around midnight when it will start to recede. Due to some further rain forecast overnight the river will again rise to a similar level before receding at 10:00 hours tomorrow morning. We are closely monitoring the situation.
