River Dove
River levels are rising in the Lower Dove catchment following Mondays rainfall. They are expected to remain elevated throughout tonight meaning flooding of low lying land and roads could continue. Further rainfall is forecast this evening before its turns drier tomorrow. River levels are likely to remain high so take care near areas of concern and continue to monitor the GOV.UK website for further updates. We have staff out in the field and will continue to monitor the situation.

Heavy rain has fallen within the Lower Dove catchment overnight and throughout the day. This has resulted in river levels rising in this area and there may be flooding to low lying land and roads. We expect rainfall to continue through the night and for river levels to remain raised until tomorrow night, however no flooding of properties is expected and no warnings are expected to be issued. Rain has fallen within the Lower Dove catchment this morning. This has resulted in river levels rising in the area, and due to increasing levels of snow melt there may be flooding to low lying land and roads. The forecast is dry for tonight although further showers are forecast for tomorrow morning and throughout the day. Therefore we expect river levels to remain raised throughout tomorrow. However no flooding of properties is expected and no flood warnings are expected to be issued. Take care near areas of concern and monitor your local weather conditions and the GOV.UK website.
