Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible between noon and afternoon today, 16/02/20. Areas most at risk are Amber gate, including the Hurt Arms Public House, the A6, the Post Office, and Derby Road. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high during today and over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
