River levels are rising at the Shardlow river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected from approximately 16:00 this afternoon, 17/02/2020.
Areas most at risk are Shardlow and Great Wilne.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours, with more rainfall expected for Wednesday and Thursday this week. We expect river levels to remain high throughout tomorrow 18/02/2020.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water.

Further light rainfall is forecast this afternoon, 09/11/2019. We expect river levels to remain high throughout today. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
