This flood warning remains in force due to high river levels following Monday's heavy and persistent rainfall. River levels in this area have now peaked and are steadily falling. Levels are expected to continue to fall through the night and through Tuesday 1st October 2024.
Weather conditions are expected to improve throughout Tuesday and no further significant rainfall is expected over the coming days.
Avoid using low-lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not drive through floodwater.

Weather conditions are expected to improve overnight and into tomorrow morning, 01/10/2024, and no further significant rainfall is expected over the coming days.

Further showers are forecast today, Saturday 21st October 2023. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Rother and Smithy Brook, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around properties in Renishaw and Renishaw Lane End.
