River levels are rising on the Lower Dorset Stour due to heavy rainfall.
Areas most at risk include Stour Park Homes Site and Water Lane Farm.
No further rainfall is forecast.

River Stour
River levels have risen at the Wimborne A31 river gauge as a result of the ground being saturated and reacting to further rainfall. Consequently, flooding could occur from this afternoon and over night 17/2/20. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Stour Park Homes Site and Water Lane Farm
Further light showery weather is forecast today with more unsettled weather and heavier rainfall forecast from Tuesday afternoon, 18/02/20..
Our incident response staff are in contact with community flood wardens and volunteers.
Please can owners with property flood resilience equipment install it now and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. You should consider moving vehicles to higher ground.
