Consequently, flooding on the Redhill and Wheatplot Home Park continues as observed flood water still on site after speaking with the Flood Warden. Further showery rainfall is forecast over the next few days which may cause levels to remain high. Our incident response staff are in contact with community flood wardens and volunteers. Please avoid using bridges over local watercourses. This message will be updated tomorrow Thursday 20/02/2020 or as the situation changes. We are closely monitoring the situation.

Consequently, flooding on the Redhill and Wheatplot Home Park continues as observed flood water still on site after speaking with the Flood Warden. Further showery rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours which may cause levels to remain high. Our incident response staff are in contact with community flood wardens and volunteers. River levels have risen at the Wimborne river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall associated with Storm Dennis. Consequently, flooding on the Redhill and Wheatplot Home Park sites is anticipated to continue through this afternoon and into Monday evening as the peak of the flood passes down the River Stour. Peak levels will be higher than the flooding in Dec 2019. Further showery rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours which may cause levels to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in contact with community flood wardens and volunteers. Please avoid using bridges over local watercourses and move possessions and valuables off the ground. River levels will remain high, reflecting rainfall that fell late last week. Although levels will fall away slightly later today, further rain that fell over the holiday period will push river levels back up again in the next 48 hours. Homes nearest to the river may be affected later on Tuesday.
