Wey, Jordan, Pucksey Brook
A further band of heavy rain is expected this afternoon, lasting into the evening and overnight. Whilst we do not expect property flooding at this time, flash flooding of fast responding rivers such as the Wey, Jordan and Preston Brook could cause problems to nearby roads and some campsites. The public are advised to stay clear of these rivers where levels may respond very quickly to rainfall which has fallen upstream of their location. Our staff have been out checking for blockages and will be monitoring river levels through the night. Updates will be posted on Floodline and the Flood Information Service website.
