Second forecast high water is 08:45 Thursday 12/03/20 with a level of 2.61 mAOD, Force 6 West South West wind. Conditions may apply 1 to 2 hours either side of the high tides. Low pressure will cause sea levels to be higher than forecast in tide tables. High tide levels may prevent rivers from flowing to the sea and cause rivers to rise. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are closing flood gates and checking defences. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and be careful along beaches, promenades and coastal footpaths and roads. A large tidal surge is expected as a result of high tides. Forecast high water is 09:15 on 13/2/2020. The forecast tide level is 2.61 m AOD. The forecast wind is Force 6 West South West. Tide times are in local time and refer to the high water time at West Bay Harbour. Flooding to roads and farmland//properties is possible//forecast at these times, however conditions may apply two to four hours either side of the high tide. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Esplanade, Quayside, Heron Court, Forty Foot Way, Driftwood, George Street, Swains Row, The Old Timberyard, Station Way, Pier Terrace and East Beach in West Bay We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please be careful along beaches, promenades and coastal footpaths and roads as large waves could be dangerous.

High water is at around 6:20 pm this evening 26/11/2019 and the morning of 27/11/2019 around 6:45 am. The wind strength is Force 5 from the south west. Flooding to roads and farmland is expected and may apply two to four hours either side of the high tides. There is the possibility of flooding of West Bay Harbour and a tidal stretch of the River Brit. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and closing gates. Please stay aware in case further warnings are issued and stay away from large waves as they are dangerous.
