A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Helensburgh.
Due to a combination of strong winds, surge and tidal conditions within the Firth of Clyde, there is a risk of flooding around the High Tide on Sunday at approximately 12:30PM. Flooding of the A814 Rhu Road, and Pier car park area is possible.
Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188. An updated FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Helensburgh.
A combination of high tides and strong winds conditions in the Firth of Clyde is expected to continue overnight. This may result in flooding from the sea as a result of wave overtopping and spray affecting low lying coastal areas and roads in particular A814 Rhu Road and Helensburgh Pier car park. A maximum water level is expected to occur around the time of the high time on Saturday 9 February at approximately 2.15am
