Flood Warning issued on 28 Nov 2019 09:09
North Sea
Large and powerful waves are expected to affect the foreshore as a result of spring tides, low pressure and strong winds. Tides will be at their highest between 15:30 and 19:00, 28/11/19. Flooding to properties and roads is possible at these times, however conditions may apply two to four hours either side of the high tide. Areas most at risk are Properties at The Headland, including Marine Drive, Sea View Terrace, York Place, Albion Terrace, South Crescent, Moor Parade, Beaconsfield Street and Broad Field Road. Coastal conditions are expected to continue until after the high tides on Thursday at The Headland. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. This message will be updated by 20:00 on 28/11/19, or as the situation changes.
