River levels in the Bran and Gwydderig catchments are responding to heavy rainfall showers, further isolated showers are expected into this evening on Monday 12th November. River levels will remain elevated overnight, but only minor impacts to low lying land and roads are expected. We will continue to monitor the situation and update this message on our internet site and on Floodline if the situation changes.

The river level in the river Bran in Llandovery is still high following heavy rainfall during Thursday 20th September and during the early hours of Friday the 21st September. The heaviest rainfall has cleared the area and only small isolated showers are forecast in the catchment through Friday. The river level is currently receding and will continue to recede into the evening when this message will be reviewed.

The upper reaches of the Bran and smaller watercourses in the area may be affected as river levels react to these showers. As water levels rise the road at Llwyn Jack may be affected .
