Areas most at risk are properties at Harbour Road and Floral Pavilion. Similar coastal conditions are expected to continue until Friday 13/03/2020. We are closely monitoring the forecast. Consequently water levels around high tides from Wednesday 11/03/20 until Thursday 12/03/2020 have the potential to cause flooding along low lying property, land and roads. Consequently, water levels around high tides on Wednesday 11/03/20 has the potential to cause flooding to low lying properties around Bridlington Harbour and South Pier between 05:00 and 06:15. Take care on low lying roads and footpaths between these times. Conditions around high tides until Thursday 12/03/2020 are expected to remain at similar levels. Consequently, water levels around high tides this evening, Tuesday 10/03/20 has the potential to cause flooding to low lying properties around Bridlington Harbour and South Pier between 16:30 and 18:00, and then again on Wednesday morning 11/03/20 between 05:00 and 06:15. Take care on low lying roads and footpaths between these times. Conditions around high tides between Tuesday and Thursday are expected to remain at similar levels. This flood warning is in force due to overtopping waves and windblown spray that are expected between 04:30 and 06:15 tomorrow morning 10/02/20. This is a result of Storm Ciara causing strong winds and large waves due to high astronomical tides. Our area incident room is open and we are closely monitoring the forecast. This message will be updated tomorrow morning or sooner, if the situation should change.

This flood warning has been re-issued for the high tide on Wednesday morning 2nd October. Overtopping will affect sea front areas as a result of high spring tides, strong winds and large waves. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and land is possible between 7am and 8.30am on Wednesday 2nd October. Areas most at risk are properties around South Pier in Bridlington. Flooding is most likely at high tide, however conditions may apply between two and four hours either side of the high tide. Coastal conditions are expected to continue into Wednesday when we will review whether this alert is also required for the Wednesday evening high tide. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying coastal roads, which may be flooded. This message will be updated as the situation changes or as new forecasts become available.

Consequently, flooding of property, roads and land is possible between 7am and 8.30am on Wednesday 2nd October. Areas most at risk are properties around South Pier in Bridlington. Flooding is most likely at high tide, however conditions may apply between two and four hours either side of the high tide. Coastal conditions are expected to continue into Wednesday when we will review whether this alert is also required for the Wednesday evening high tide.
