Areas most at risk are around Country Park Inn, Hessle. We are closely monitoring the forecast. Please be careful along coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. Areas of particular concern are exposed promenades and frontages at Country Park Inn, Hessle. This flood warning is in force due to overtopping waves and windblown spray that are expected between 05:45 and 08:45 tomorrow morning 10/02/20. This is a result of Storm Ciara causing strong winds and large waves due to high astronomical tides. Our area incident room is open and we are closely monitoring the forecast. This message will be updated tomorrow morning or sooner, if the situation should change.
