Areas most at risk include Properties on the Humber frontage east of the River Hull, including ABP, King George Dock, Alexandra Dock, Victoria Dock Village and Drypool . After the high tide tomorrow morning‚ the weather is more settled and no flooding is expected. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities and checking flood defences. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Stay away from beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. This flood warning remains in force due to strong winds associated with Storm Ciara, combined with high tides will drive wave and spray overtopping of coastal defences on Tuesday morning (11/02/20). Areas of particular concern are exposed promenades and frontages at Victoria Dock Village, between the hours of 07:15 and 08:30, and then again on Tuesday evening between 19:00 and 21:00. Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. We will update this message in 8 hours or as the situation changes.
