The River Don and River Went have risen in response to the rain and will remain high throughout Friday morning, and higher Spring tides for the remainder of this week will work to hold freshwater back in the lower rivers. We expect river levels to peak around 14:00 on Friday in the lowest reaches of the River Don. However, the peak levels are forecast to be significantly lower than those seen at the end of last week.
