River Rother
River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and low lying land is expected between 6:30am and 4pm today, 17/11/22. We expect flooding to affect properties on and around Redlands Lane. Rainfall is forecast to clear this morning and is expected to be dry until Saturday 19 November. We expect river levels to begin falling from 11am today on 17/11/22. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking and operating our defences and structures at Robertsbridge. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and contact your insurance company if you've been flooded. This message will be updated by 2pm on 17/11/22, or as the situation changes.
