River Brede
River levels remain high but are now falling, following the heavy rainfall experienced yesterday. Water levels are currently below the level we would expect to directly contribute to property flooding. Flooding to land and roads is likely to continue in this area until Friday afternoon, 6 March. No further rainfall is forecast. However, river levels may rise again in Rye to coincide with high tide between 6am and 10am on Friday morning, 6 March. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely from our incident room and have been working with our partners. Please continue to remain safe in this area and avoid contact with flood waters. This Flood Warning message will be removed or updated by 11am on Friday 6 March.

River Brede
River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall today, Thursday 5th March. Flooding of property is imminent. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties on and around Station Road.
We expect river levels to remain high until 6am on Friday 6th March.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking our defences and structures.
Please avoid contact with flood water and remain safe in the area of concern.
