Rising river levels due to heavy rainfall are expected to cause flooding this evening and overnight. Flooding to properties is expected imminently. Properties along Priory Road, Swans Ghyll, Riverside and Blenheim Fields are at immediate risk. If you have them, activate your property protection measures now. River levels are expected to remain high overnight due to thunderstorms passing through the area. We are closely monitoring the situation and clearing debris from weed screens. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so. This message will be updated by 09:00 on 02/08/2024, or as the situation changes.

The Flood Warning remains in force. Heavy rainfall this morning caused river levels to rise. Further heavy rain is forecast this evening 20/10/2021 and into the early hours of tomorrow morning. This is likely to see levels increase further. Properties remain at risk of flooding along Priory Road, Swans Ghyll, Riverside and Blenheim Fields. If you have them, activate your property protection measures now. River levels will remain very high until tomorrow afternoon. Heavy rainfall has triggered local Environment Agency rainfall alarms, we believe that based on the intensity and amount of rainfall, properties are at immediate risk of flooding. If you have them, activate your property protection measures now. Flooding is possible from now to tomorrow, 10/02/20. Further rainfall is forecast over the next few hours. We expect river levels to remain high tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively monitoring the situation and are prepared to respond if required. Levels in the River Medway are now falling and so it is likely levels in Kidbrooke Stream and other local watercourses should also begin to fall shortly. Further showers are possible for the rest of Friday 20 December and so the risk of flooding to property remains. The forecast for Saturday 21 December is for further heavy rainfall which could see a return to flood conditions. We continue to monitor the situation and will update this message as necessary.

Persistent rain with embedded heavy showers has led to river levels in the local water courses in Forest Row rising swiftly. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties on and around Beech Green Lane and Rogues Hill, near the river at Hartfield. Properties on and around London Road and Station Road, near the river. Properties on and around Beech Green Lane and Rogues Hill. Homes and businesses where property level protection measures are fitted should check and deploy those measures now. We are closely monitoring the situation.
