Affecting fields, rural roads and gardens in Langney Green. It is probable that come Friday morning, river levels will not have risen as high as they were Tuesday 5/11/2019. But levels are likely to slowly increase over the next few days, even if flooding does not occur, as rain is expected Saturday and Monday 11/11/2019. It may not be until next week that river levels peak and start to fall significantly. Please plan to avoid driving on roads vulnerable to flooding and deploy flood protection products, if you have them. We are operating our gate structures through Langney and Eastbourne to help reduce flood risk. This message will be updated by 11:00 8/11/2019
