River levels are expected to continue to rise in response to recent rainfall. Areas most at risk are Smiths Green, Helions Rd, Water Lane, the bottom of Church Street, North Street, Blois Road, the Endway and the Blois Meadows Business Centre in Steeple Bumpstead, and waterside properties in Broad Green. The forecast is for further rain during today Sunday 18 February, with the potential for some heavy showers. The rain is expected to clear off the East coast by early afternoon, with only the odd light shower pushing through the catchment. The forecast is for some light showers on Monday 19 February and Tuesday 20 February. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation.
