We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate. The forecast is for some heavy rainfall this afternoon but no further significant rain is forecast overnight or tomorrow. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation, and will update this message by 9am tomorrow.

The River is reacting quickly, and continuing to rise in response to the current rainfall. Areas most at risk are Noak Bridge, Barleylands Road, Southend Road, and riverside properties in Wickford. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate. The forecast is for some heavy rainfall this morning, and into this afternoon, with no further significant rain forecast tomorrow. Areas most at risk are Noak Bridge, Barleylands Road, Southend Road, and riverside properties in Wickford. Areas most at risk are Noak Bridge, Barleylands Road, Southend Road, and riverside properties in Wickford. The forecast is for rain to clear the area this evening, followed by more settled conditions tomorrow which should allow for river levels to continue to fall. Further rain is however expected Saturday. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk.
