Low level flooding of properties adjacent to the river is possible locally at the time of high tide. At Sandhurst; a peak tide level of 3.84 metres occurred on Tuesday evening. A tide level of between 3.6 and 3.8 metres is expected to occur around 1am on Thursday. A tide level of between 3.5 and 3.7 metres is expected to occur around 2pm on Thursday. At Gloucester; a peak tide level of 3.67 metres occurred on Tuesday evening. A tide level of between 3.4 and 3.6 metres is expected to occur around 1am on Thursday. A tide level of between 3.2 and 3.4 metres is expected to occur around 2pm on Thursday. Underlying river levels are rising between tides as a result of rainfall over the last few days. River levels are expected to continue rising between tides, remaining high until Thursday.

Underlying river levels are also rising between tides as a result of rainfall on Friday, and are expected to reach highest levels on Sunday. Further rainfall is however forecast for Sunday night which will lead to a further rise in river levels.
