River levels have risen at the Lydney river gauge as a result of Storm Bert.  Consequently, flooding of property is expected. We expect flooding to affect properties around Forest Road, Lydney Town and Station Road    Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.  We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. River levels are falling at the Lydney river gauge after a period of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding of property, roads and farmland will continue today, the 24/12/20. We expect flooding to affect low lying properties in Lydney. A peak level of 1.4m occurred at 01:00 on Thursday morning the 24/12/20. We are closely monitoring the situation.
